I think the world is transitioning, not ending. My beliefs are based on the Hopi prophesy of Hotevilla by Mails and Evehema, in which the Hopi prophesy a transition to world peace by the end of the Hopi/Mayan calendar, December 21, 2012. This may come at the cost of WWIII before the end of the calendar, due to the US exploitation of the developing world, such as war, wage slavery, environmental racism and relocation of native people, etc.
